I think the colours work well both ways, but this is much softer on the eye and more suiting of the boarder, I think so anyway

Each color set has it's own meaning.
The colorful one has very much the feeling of life and happiness, with a bright sun and clear sea. The colors are bright but not too much at all, so it's not hard on the eyes.
This one makes me think of the end of the day, winter and death; the bird itself seems to be staring out to it's death. As a bird represents freedom, this one is pretty ominous, with the imminent death of freedom. The dull colors go really well and are eay on the eyes.
I like both, buth I personally much prefer this one.

Utrolig bra bilde! Jeg liker best bildet som er her, med de mer grå fargene. Den andre var også bra, med den grå fuglen oppe i alt det fargerike, men likte som sagt best den andre. Liker også veldig godt at det er så "enkelt" tegnet. Malingsstrøkene forteller på en måte noe av seg selv. ^^
